Cart etiquette is mostly common sense

Follow signs, ropes, and cart-path-only rules. Keep carts away from greens, tees, bunkers, and wet areas. When sharing a cart, do not make your partner wait while you study three clubs at your ball.

Working with a caddie

Listen to local knowledge. A caddie may know that a putt breaks less than it looks or that a tee shot kicks right from a hidden slope. Be clear about what help you want and treat them with respect.

Range manners

Practice areas are shared. Keep your bag tidy, hit from your assigned station, and do not wander in front of the line. If the range uses mats, stay on the mat. If it is grass, follow the facility’s divot pattern.

Short-game awareness

Do not chip across someone else’s practice line. Collect balls without walking into another player’s shot. On practice greens, use a few balls, not a whole shag bag during busy times.
