Putting practice
A 30-Minute Putting Practice Session Plan
Before a putting game ends, a half-hour plan that balances technique, scoring, and pressure without wasting a minute.

The 30-minute build
When pace control is the goal, short sessions work when they are decisive. In putting practice, put your phone away, choose the skill, and move with purpose.
| Time | Task |
|---|---|
| 0–5 min | Warm up with easy rhythm |
| 5–15 min | Technical reps with feedback |
| 15–25 min | Random targets or scoring game |
| 25–30 min | Pressure finish and quick notes |
Keep it moving
For putting practice, the middle block should include a chalk-line start drill followed by 30-foot ladder putts. Do not stay until the green hands you a lucky finish. When pace control is the goal, you are trying to create a repeatable response under mild pressure.
The final challenge
End with hole five 4-footers before you leave the green. In putting practice, if you fail, try once more, then stop. Before a putting game ends, the point is to learn how your motion behaves when there is a consequence, not to stay until you manufacture a perfect ending.
